This year I have been travelling more than ever, which has reminded me just how much I love it. I had a week off in between shoots and decided to book myself a ticket to New York, a solo trip to shoot film, explore a new city & experience the vibrant culture of one of the most iconic cities in the world.
On this trip, I chose to bring only film cameras & challenged myself to some candid street photography… something i’ve always appreciated but had never practiced.
I get a lot of joy showing people around BC that are not from here, so when Coldsmoke Co hit me up to shoot a look book for them in Tofino, I was ecstatic. These guys make technical outerwear from some of the best materials in the world, made in LA. It’s not like this group hasn’t travelled but none of them had been to this special place on Vancouver Island…

VICE contacted me to shoot some photos at the Anti-racism rally at City Hall in Vancouver. The rally was intended to overshadow a white supremacist demonstration that was meant to take place that day.
Only a handful of far-right supporters showed up who were met with a crowd of 4000 people there to fight against the racism and hatred. Here are some of the photos from the rally...
